Acting Out Discourses

- Each small group has a specific part to read
- In class, the groups act out different discourses for others; for example,
- Traditional talk:
- Some group has the traditional talking style as their discourse.
- They can act out their part of the article through their discourse: telling others about this piece of the article for example through the history of art and other factual points of view.
- Another group may have a critical discourse
- Another group may have feelings and personal views as discourse
- Traditional talk:
Purpose:
- To demonstrate and practice different points of view
- To learn about one article from multiple perspectives
